This page contains our walkthrough for Garland King's New Star, one of the main missions in Just Cause 4. This is the first mission you do for Garland. Try to complete more of her missions - you will get Booster upgrade for your grappling hook which attaches small rocket engines to objects.
Destroying the ship
Your first objective is to destroy the Black Hand's ship. Garland gives you Booster, a modification for your grappling hook. It allows you to attach small boosters to certain objects. Attach a few of them to the nearby ship to make it move towards the Black Hand's ship. Then, fire the boosters - the Black Hand's vessel will explode right after it gets in contact with the ship.
Escort Garland
Use the grappling hook to get on the rooftop of Garland's vehicle. Time for a typical escort. Use a regular rifle to eliminate infantry and a grenade or rocket launcher to destroy enemy vehicles. You can also test out Booster - attach rocket engines to enemy vehicles and fire them. Enemies should lose control over their vehicles.
Stunt jump
You now have to drive the car. Follow the green arrows - soon, you will reach a ramp. Use nitrous to reach maximum speed and drive straight towards the ramp. You can leave the car when you get close to the ramp - the car will fly straight at a ship full of explosives. This completes Garland King's New Star.
