From Pain Comes Beauty - Aphrodite's quests walkthrough

On this page of the guide to Immortals Fenyx Rising, you will learn how to complete the next main mission, which is called From Pain Comes Beauty. This is a quest related to Aphrodite and her region. After completing each task for one of the gods, you will receive their blessing.

The order of missions can be different in your own playthrough, it all depends on which region you want to visit first. The easiest tasks to start with are those from Aphrodite. Moreover, her blessings are quite useful.

Your first task will be to go to the statue of the Goddess of Love. Use your Far Sight ability while tracking this quest, this will make it easy to discover the exact location of the statue. Glide towards the marker, if you run out of stamina, use potions, or land on the ground and use a mount instead.

While halfway to the very top of the statue, you will encounter a cage, release the creature trapped within it.

Now climb to the top of the statue to survey the surrounding area. Once you have completed the reconnaissance, the region will be visible to you on the main map.

Afterwards, you need to travel to an apple tree, the quest marker will show you the way. Glide in the direction of the marker to get there as soon as possible.

There you will find Aphrodite transformed into a tree. She will give you a task, which will require you to throw a pearl into the ocean. To accomplish this, go to a new marker on the map.

When you get there, you will find a Cyclops defending the pearl. Deal with him by using the same strategy as during the first boss fight, when you defeated Mikros. Your foe will not be much different from the boss, he will just be a little bit weaker. Use the surrounding rocks, and throw them at the eye of your opponent. After defeating him, go to the shell and start moving the pearl into the ocean.

The road ahead is long; however, you will make progress quite quickly because of the path along which you will travel. The pearl will basically roll down by itself.

Once you are close enough to the marker, you will need to deal with more enemies. Leave the pearl near the opponents and take care of the enemy units. You will have a small arsenal of rocks at your disposal, which will inflict heavy damage to your foes. After defeating them, start rolling the pearl further forward.

On your way, you will encounter another obstacle, in the form of rocks that will be blocking the road. Use the power of Heracles' Strength to clear the path.

The last stage will involve more enemies for you to vanquish. Deal with them and then roll the pearl to the location shown in the picture. Shoot at the targets that are on the left and right side, and above the shell. Then roll the pearl all the way down to the ocean.

Afterwards, collect the sea foam, which you can find in the water. Once you have done that, go back to Aphrodite, who still remains in her tree form, and give her the sea foam.

When you give her the item, there will be a short cutscene, followed by a new event, named Typhon's wrath. Every now and then, as the renown of your hero grows, you will be attacked by Typhon's emissaries. In this case, you will be attacked by a Wraith of Achilles, and several tentacles. You should not worry too much about the tentacles; to complete the mission, you must defeat the Wraith of Achilles.

The best tactic to defeat this foe is to open the distance and wait for him to jump out at you and throw his spear. When you see this, you have to parry his attack. Additionally, if he is close to you, he will perform a series of three attacks, the third of which is always impossible to parry, so it is worth parrying at the time of the first or second strike. Fight him with your axe in order to charge the stun bar. After you defeat him, return the item to Aphrodite and complete the quest.
