Far Sight is a mechanic that allows you to see items or various locations from a great distance, this includes chests, Ambrosia or even puzzles, and they will be marked permanently on your map after you spot them. In addition, it also serves as a map, which does not need to be opened from the level of the menu, after using the Far Sight ability you will know how far you are from a marked object.
However, in order to know exactly how close you are a given object, you must first select it. After using Far Sight you will see white flashes that indicate potential items or points of interest for you to select. Moreover, if you are playing on a pad, your pad will vibrate more and more as you get closer to an undiscovered object. You can also quickly steer the camera in all possible directions and spam the button responsible for selecting objects (in the case of the PS4 it is R2), this is a much faster approach, although it is not very accurate.
