In House Flipper you can increase the speed and quality of work by using Perks. You will get points to distribute after completing a specific amount of activities from a given category. Points should be spent immediately, to increase the speed and effectiveness of work. Abilities are divided into three sub-categories, with three perks to unlock in each one.

Cleaning

For cleaning in House Flipper you will be using a mop (2) and your own hands (to dispose of rubbish). Remember not to use the device to sell items when cleaning, as you won't be getting any additional points by doing so.

  1. Penetrating vision - filth, such as rubbish and stains, is shown on the radar. As you increase the level of this skill, the amount of filth you find will increase as well. Very useful during independent renovations.
  2. Fast hands - stains cleaned with the mop will disappear faster, increasing the speed of work.
  3. Long range - in this category you are able to unlock two new types of mops. They allow you to get rid of stains in a larger range, removing several at once, if they are located close to each other. This increases the speed of work and often removes dirt hidden behind objects. The last upgrade allows you to get rid of garbage faster. Caution - by improving the mop, you also upgrade the window washer, thanks to this both actions become faster.

Painting

Painting in House Flipper is done during most orders. Before you unlock additional perks, this activity can take a lot of time. Because of this, it's a good idea to take on the story-related orders from the beginning of the game, as you often need to repaint practically every room in the houses you purchase.

  1. Basic painting - pick this upgrade first. The first perk prevents your character from trying to apply the second layer of paint to the already painted fragment. Further improvements to the ability decrease paint usage by 20% and 40%. This applies to the amount in the can of paint and slightly on the roller.
  2. Instant painting - you move the roller faster, which increases the overall speed of painting.
  3. Paint more - by picking up this upgrade you will paint 2, 3 and finally 4 stripes on the wall at the same time. This upgrade should be upgraded as quickly as possible and coupled with the paint saving ability.

Demolition

Demolition works aren't the most common and they also aren't very demanding. You receive points for every demolished wall.

  1. Passionate hammer master - the character swings the hammer faster.
  2. Triceps of steel - the force of strikes is stronger. Sometimes, when the wall "doesn't want to give up" or when you are hitting the wrong place, you might have problems tearing it down - this Perk will help you with that task. However, you should develop it at the end, as it's the least beneficial.
  3. Better equipment - you gain access to better hammers. Aside from their cool appearance, they increase the speed of work.

Building

This category applies only to erecting new partition walls inside the building. If you are not doing that too often, it is not worth getting more than the first point in the Mason category. You get points for the number of built walls in the game.

  1. Fast building - increases the speed of erecting new walls, even up to 400%. Although this speeds up your work substantially, it is worth to get familiar with the other options described below.
  2. Mason - the first ability is the most useful one, and we recommend choosing it. New walls come painted instantly in the "local" color, thanks to this while dividing a room, you save time that you would have to spend on painting, you also don't have to worry about paying for the paint. The subsequent levels are rather petty improvements (increasing the building range, and a 50% price cut for a part of wall, which aren't that expensive anyway, unless, you want to rebuild the whole house).
  3. One man crew - increases the number of walls that can be erected at the same time. This perk is more useful than Fast building.

Negotiation

Negotiation is a Perk that comes in handy in renovation works for accommodation purchased on your own. Thanks to it, you will increase the value of your lot. Higher levels of this skill will be unlocked depending on the number of competed jobs, so it's worth to do the story-based jobs that are offered to you by e-mail.

Price negotiations - makes price negotiations possible while selling accommodation units in fee mode. Negotiations usually don't help to get high margins at the beginning of the game, but it's always a nice bonus to get a couple of thousand dollars more.

  1. Quick order - zmniejszane sa wymagania zlecen, co oznacza, ze nie musisz juz tak mocno dogadzac potencjalnym nabywcom, aby zechcieli dac pelna kwote za wymarzony dom. It's worth unlocking the first level quickly, before you start renovating the accommodations.
  2. Higher payment- you get a higher remuneration for finished homes prepared for sale (up to 30%). If you're having financial problems, this Perk is for you, at the maximum level the bonus is up to + 30% of your salary.

Handyman

This is a very useful Perk, you constantly receive points in it during the course of the game, you get the points for: plastering, installing tiles on walls, and fitting all sorts of equipment, from radiators to bathtubs

  1. Fitter - increases the speed of fitting equipment: this is mainly connected with the speed of mounting nuts and bolts, useful throughout the whole game.
  2. Plasterer - increases the speed of plastering. You won't find any walls that need patching in the story missions. In free mode they are frequent in old and neglected houses, for situations such as these it is worth investing points in this skill.
  3. Tiler - this skill is especially useful in story missions. Laying tiles is the most tedious activity in the game, although tiled surfaces don't feature any specific properties, you will have to lay them a couple of times in story missions.
