Machines are animal robots that can be encountered as you explore the world of Horizon Forbidden West. Machines can be divided by size and weight (light, medium, heavy), but also by type.
Types
In Horizon Forbidden West, you will find many machines of different types, among them:
- Recon: Representatives of this class act as recons, and their main task is to search for threats. You can distinguish machines such as Longleg, Burrowing Owl, and even Tallneck.
- Combat: These machines are characterized by a predatory appearance, and their main task is to fight. Combat machines include, among others, Specter, Ravager, and Thunderjaw.
- Transport: Machines of this type specialize in moving cargo and include Widemaw, Frostclaw, and Bristleback.
New machines
In addition to the enemies known from Horizon Zero Dawn, in Horizon Forbidden West, many new machines have appeared in the game. The new opponents act in completely different ways and have different variants.
