How to unlock
You will not get into the Arena before completing The Kulrut main mission. Only during this quest will you get into the city. After completing the mission, you can return to the location and find two figures standing next to the arena. They will give you the side quest called Opening the Arena, which you have to complete to get into the Area and fight.
Fighting in the Arena
In the Arena, you can fight several battles at different difficulty levels. There are five of them:
- amateur,
- intermediate,
- skilled,
- expert,
- legendary.
The difficulty levels differ primarily in the opponents you will meet in the arena.
Arena fights are about killing your opponents in a certain amount of time. The rewards are not affected by the difficulty of the game (arenas are). If you don't fancy a great challenge, lower the game level to the lowest (story) to easily defeat all opponents.
Taking part in Arena fights is required to get the Completed Arena Challenge Set achievement. To unlock the trophy, you can choose the easiest fights with machines and any difficulty level. You don't have to complete 100% of the arena challenges.
Preparation
You can use different types of weapons in the Arena. It is a good idea to restore your health, prepare healing potions and choose the best weapons before entering it. The same goes for skill points. Distribute them, so you don't have to worry about that during the battles. Once you enter the arena, you will no longer have the option to change equipment.
Medals
You can buy legendary items - weapons and armor - with the medals you earn after battles. All you have to do is go to the vendor standing in front of the arena.
It is worth noting that the items purchased that way are only available during the battles in the arena.
