Equip Aloy with a bow that deals as much damage as possible. Fight at medium range so you can accurately target the tusks. Also, make sure that you're only fighting the Widemaw and that other machines don't get involved in the battle.

You have to wait for the Widemaw to open its jaws. Once that happens, aim your bow and use concentration mode to slow down time. Try to aim for one of the tusks.

When this machine opens its maw, it usually indicates that it's about to use one of its ranged attacks - hurling boulders. It's advisable to battle them near indestructible obstacles, such as trees or boulders. This will allow you to hide behind cover and dodge the Widemaw's attacks.
