Welcome to the Resistance | Walkthrough Homefront: The Revolution Guide

After a series of cutscenes, follow Parish to the armory. Here you will gain access to your first weapon - pistol. Moments after this event, use the shop and buy the machine pistol upgrade (second item from the list). After buying the upgrade, go to the weapons panel, and modify your pistol. You can return to the shop every time, to buy new weapons or upgrades. You don't have to do that from Philadelphia's zones, because shop can be brought up through special gun lockers. More about them in the chapter on weapons.

Once you get acquainted with the shop, follow Parrish. The table on the left has the ingredients, from which you need to create a molotov cocktail. Go to the item creation window, and choose the Molotov cocktail to create it. You can create the full amount to make room for equipment, which you will be gathering during your journey. After creating the Molotov cocktail the mission will be complete.
