Collection Chests, one of the categories of collectibles in Hogwarts Legacy, can be found and looted to receive items from the Conjuration collection and wand handles. On this page of the Hogwarts Legacy guide, you will find locations and tips on how to find all Collection Chests in the Hogwarts castle region.

Some rooms and passageways will be locked - you can recognize them through a padlock appearing on the door. To open such doors, you need the Alohomora spell - more on the topic on How to open locks? page of our guide.

Collection Chests are often found in secret rooms. On the How to solve puzzle door? page, you will learn how to set the right symbols.

Collection Chest #1

Part of the castle: The Astronomy Wing.

1. Travel to Charms Classroom Floo Flame.
2. Enter the classroom and climb the spiral staircase to the study.

1. Go up another spiral staircase and go outside.
2. You'll find a chest with a random wand handle here.

1. Travel to Charms Classroom Floo Flame.
2. Approach the symbol door next to the Floo Flame.

1. Set the symbols (screenshot for tips) and open the door.

1. Inside you'll find a chest with a random item from the Conjuration collection.

1. Teleport to Professor Fig's Classroom Floo Flame.
2. Enter the classroom and turn left.
3. The chest is on the desk by the window.
4. It will contain a random wand handle.

Part of the castle: The Astronomy Wing.

1. Travel to Transfiguration Courtyard Floo Flame.
2. Go through the door leading to the castle interior next to the Floo Flame.
3. Turn right and go up another staircase.
4. Look for two gargoyles and enter the door between them.

1. The chest is on the table in the middle of the room.
2. It will contain a random wand handle.

1. Travel to Potions Classroom Floo Flame (The Library Annex part of the castle).
2. Enter the main hall and approach the door with symbols near the stairs.

1. Set the symbols (view the above screenshots for tips) (the second symbol element is one floor above from the door).

1. Go back to the door and enter the secret room.
2. The chest will contain a random item from the Conjuration collection.

Part of the castle: The Astronomy Wing.

1. Travel to the Bell Tower Courtyard Floo Flame (The Bell Tower Wing part of the castle).
2. Go up the stairs left from the Floo Flame and go through the door to enter the northern hall.
3. Go down and enter the dungeons.

1. Go to the bottom floor, go past the dragon statue and turn right.
2. Go to the end of the corridor and enter the alchemy class.

1. You'll find the chest on the right side of the room and it will contain a random wand handle.

Part of the castle: The Bell Tower Wing.

1. Use the Bell Tower Courtyard fast travel point.
2. Go up the stairs to the left of the fast travel point.
3. Turn left and go up the stairs to the very top.
4. Go to the end of the corridor and turn right at the chest with an eye.

1. Go up the stairs and go underneath the arch.
2. Climb the stairs to the very top (the top of the tower).
3. Go outside through the door.

1. Turn right next to the frog statue and open the chest. There will be a random item from the Conjuration collection inside.

1. Go back to the frog statue and interact with it.
2. The next chest will contain a random wand handle.

1. Go around the building and open the final chest.
2. It will contain a random item from the Conjuration collection.

Collection Chest #10

Part of the castle: The Bell Tower Wing.

1. Teleport to the Bell Tower Courtyard fast travel point.
2. Climb the stairs left from the Floo Flame and go through the door to the northern hall.
3. Go up the stairs to the top floor.
4. Go through the door to the room opposite the stairs.

1. Go to the end of the room and turn left.
2. Set the symbols as shown in the screenshots above and open the door.

1. There is a chest in the room containing a random item from the Conjuration collection.

Collection Chest #11

Part of the castle: The Bell Tower Wing.

1. Travel to the Hogwarts North Exit Floo Flame.
2. Enter the castle grounds and turn right.
3. Walk around the stables and the building adjacent to them.

1. Open the lock on the door and enter the caretaker house.
2. The chest by the fireplace will contain a random wand handle.

Collection Chest #12 is in Depulso Puzzle Room 2. This area is unlocked once The Hall of Herodiana side quest is completed.

Part of the Castle: The Grand Staircase.

1. Travel to the Grand Staircase Floo Flame.
2. Go up the stairs then turn right at the man and lion statue and climb to the upper floor.

1. Proceed forward and approach the door with symbols.
2. Set the symbols as shown in the screenshot above.

1. Return to the Floo Flame and set the symbol as shown in the screenshot above.
2. Go back to the door - you can now go inside.
3. The chest found in the room will contain a random item from the Conjuration collection.

Part of the Castle: The Grand Staircase.

1. Use the Grand Staircase Tower fast travel point.
2. Enter the room with the spiral staircase and descend using it.
3. Approach the door with symbols.

1. Set the symbols that we show in the screenshots above and open the door.

1. Enter the secret room and open the chest.
2. There will be a random item from the Conjuration collection inside.

1. Use the Ravenclaw Tower fast travel point.
2. Go towards the spiral staircase.
3. Approach the door with symbols.

1. Set the symbols as shown in the screenshot above and open the door.

1. The Collection Chest inside the room will contain a random item from the Conjuration collection.

Part of the Castle: The Grand Staircase.

1. Travel to Trophy Room Floo Flame.
2. Go through the room and go through the gate to a spiral staircase.
3. Follow the path laid out by corridors and staircases until you reach the headmaster's office.

1. Collection Chest #16 is found on the table next to the door.
2. It will contain a random wand handle.

Part of the Castle: The Grand Staircase.

1. Go to the headmaster's office.
2. Go through the door on the left side of the room.
3. Climb the stairs and go through the door to find a secret room.

1. There is a key on the table next to the record player.
2. Once you got the key, go back to the headmaster's office and back to the corridor.
3. Go to the end of the corridor lined with statues and open the door with the key you've just obtained.

1. Go up the spiral stairs.
2. The first chest will contain a random wand handle .

1. The second chest will contain a random item from the Conjuration Collection .

1. Travel to the Faculty Tower Floo Flame (The South Wing part of the castle).
2. Follow the corridor and turn right.
3. Walk through the door.

1. Go up the stairs one floor up.
2. Approach the door with symbols.

1. Set the symbols (screenshot for tips) and open the door.

1. Follow the wooden stairs to enter a platform.
2. Approach the chest and loot it - it will contain a random item from the Conjuration collection.
