Meet Sebastian along the coast
To reach the coast, you'll have to go through a tunnel that leads to a new area of the world map. There are some Ranrok loyalists in the tunnel, but by this moment in the story you've probably dispatched a lot of opponents, so they shouldn't pose a threat.
After emerging from the tunnel, fly to meet Sebastian - make sure to unlock new Floo Flames along the way. Talking to your friend concludes this phase of the task.
Travel up the switchbacks
Follow Sebastian up-hill and defeat Ranrok loyalists along the way. You can utilize stealth - the enemies are placed in such a way that you can eliminate them silently with ease.
Defeat all enemies
Eventually, you'll reach a larger camp that is full of enemies. Aside from warriors, the enemy unit has ranged fighters, which may make the entire battle difficult. There are a lot of throwables in the arena, as well as explosive barrels that are worth using.
Continue up the mountain
Keep going uphill by climbing the ledges. There are two enemies next to the tunnel entrance.
Defeat the guards
After entering the belly of the mountain, another battle awaits you. Among the enemy units, there are Loyalist Assassins which should be eliminated first. After the battle concludes, enter the cave.
Search for Runes
The two heroes are attacked by spiders, with additional opponents coming in waves. Among the incoming opponents, there is a single more powerful one - we recommend using Ancient Magic on him. Once the battle concludes, follow the path on the right.
Climb the stairs, burn the spider web, and destroy the rubble blocking the way forward.
Along the way, you'll encounter spider cocoons - destroy them with attacks and enter a larger hall where you'll face some spiders.
You have to survive in the arena against a few waves of opponents, among them Thornback Matriarchs. There are a lot of throwables here that can be thrown in the mix of spells and attacks.
Unlock the Rune Door
To unlock the path forward, you need to hit 3 runes. Two of them are next to the door, and the third one is right behind you - in the place shown in the screenshot above.
Search for the triptych segment
In the new large hall, you'll be attacked by a troll accompanied by some spiders.
After the battle concludes, use Reparo to repair the stairs destroyed by the troll and use them to get upstairs.
Grab the chest with Accio and bring it to the place shown in the screenshot above and use Levioso on it . Climb up.
As you enter the room with another piece of Isidora's journal, destroy the rubble shown in the screenshot above to be albe to continue.
You will reach another Rune Door. To open it, you have to hit three symbols :
- The first symbol is opposite the exit from the corridor leading to this place.
- The second rune is directly opposite the door.
- The third one is hidden behind the rubble to the left of the door.
Investigate the chamber
Enter the chamber, then use the stairs on the left and get to the upper floor. The last fragment of the triptych can be found on the table .
Place the canvas into the triptych
After talking with Sebastian, go back to the Undercroft and put the last fragment of the triptych in its place. After the cutscene, the mission will end.
