Imperio is 1 out of the 3 Unforgivable Curses in Hogwarts Legacy. On this page, you will learn how to complete the Relationship Quest for Sebastian Sallow called In the Shadow of Time. Unlocking the Relationship Quest

This quest from Sebastian will be unlocked after:

1. completing Sebastian's side quest In the Shadow of the Study;
2. completing In the Shadow of Discovery side quest, in which you will have a short conversation with Sebastian.

Meet Sebastian at the catacombs in the Feldcroft region.

Rewards for completing the quest

1. 180 XP;
2. Imperio spell;
3. you will unlock the next Relationship Quest with Sebastian.

Find the relic

Enter the catacombs and follow the corridor. At the end of it, you will be attacked by 2 spiders. Remove the web from the passage with any fire spell and move on.

In the next room, you will find more spiders. On the right side you will find a door that needs to be destroyed with the Depulso spell. Behind them there is a corridor leading to a room with spiders and a few regular chests. The corridor on the left leads to the next part of the catacombs.

Defeat the spiders and pick up the note lying in the center of the chamber.

Speak with Sebastian about the note

Talk to Sebastian. After a short conversation, you will receive a new quest objective. You will have to open the door barricaded by bones.

Find a way through the barricade

Summon the bones lying in the center of the chamber. While maintaining the Accio spell, lead the bones to the barricaded door and release the button.

More bones will be in one of the stashes in the chamber. You will find the next set of bones in the small room - break the door with Depulso and move the bones to the barricaded door. When you place 3 sets of bones in the door, the passage will open.

Learning the Imperio spell

After moving to the next chamber, Sebastian will offer you to learn the Imperio spell. This will be your only chance to learn Imperio - if you refuse, you won't be able to learn this spell elsewhere. Choose the second dialogue option if you want to learn 1 of the 3 Unforgivable Curses.

Find the relic

After defeating the spiders, go to the chamber on the right. There you will find another door made of bones. The first set of bones is right next to the door.

The next set will be behind an obstacle. Look at the 2 symbols on the stone. You have to find the right handles with these symbols and use the Accio spell to extend them. When the chamber opens, place the bones on the door.

Find the 3rd set of bones and grab the handles above the corresponding symbols. When you bring the last bones to the door, the passage will open.

Defeat the spiders

In the last chamber, you will fight a large group of spiders. The strongest of them will be at level 24. Use area-of-effect attacks and secondary weapons like the Mandrake to stun all enemies for a while.

After defeating the spiders, set the web on fire and pick up the notes and the relic. When talking to Sebastian, choose any dialogue option. No matter what you say, the boy will still want to take the relic with him.

Leave the catacomb

Before leaving the chamber, you will meet Ominis. After a short conversation, leave the room and turn left.

Then turn right and go through a small door to the upper level of the catacombs. At the end of the corridor, turn right and keep walking until you reach the exit.

Return to Feldcroft

After leaving the catacombs, fast travel will be blocked. You have to go there on foot. If you don't want to fight enemies along the way, cast Disillusionment. Follow the marker until you reach the village.

Defend Feldcroft from Ranrok's Loyalists

In Feldcroft, you will fight a large group of goblins. If you've learned Crucio and Imperio, this will be a good time to try out the new spells. Cast Imperio on one of the opponents - from now on, this character will attack other enemies. Use Crucio only after setting an enemy on fire.

Talk to Solomon Sallow

After winning the battle, talk to Sebastian's uncle to complete the quest.
