Ackley Barnes is a character you'll meet in Hogsmeade in Hogwarts Legacy. The wizard will give you the Venomous Revenge side quest. We explain how to get the Dragonhide Herbologist Gloves collectible and how to find the basement with the Venomous Tentacula.

Unlocking the quest
Talk to the man behind The Three Broomsticks. Ackley Barnes will ask you to bring a plant from the basement of one of the houses in Hogsmeade.
Rewards for completing the quest
- 180 XP;
- 500 coins;
- Appearance - you will unlock a new cosmetic item - Dragonhide Herbologist Gloves.
Find Alfred Lawley's Cellar
Follow the marker on the screen to the houses in the western part of the village. When you approach the descent to the basement, the door will open.
Find Lawley's Venomous Tentacula
After going down to the basement, immediately cast the Disillusionment spell on yourself. Wait until Lawley goes to another part of the basement and turn right. Open the padlock on the door and move on.
Defeat the spiders in the next room and collect all the plants and coin bags. Finally, take the Venomous Tentacula from the big pot.
Return to Ackley Barnes
Exit the same way you came - be careful so that the owner of the house does not notice you. When talking to the quest giver, ask him for an additional payment if you want to receive 500 coins for the completed quest.
