You need to tend to the wounded bird

Switch to Radagast and go towards the starting point, to the North-West of the raised drawbridge. Approach the wounded bird on the ground and hold down the indicated key/button. This will allow Radagast to heal the bird. You now need to wait for the bird to sit on the drawbridge, which will result in lowering it. Go towards the mountainous path, where you start the next stage of the game.
