Hitman 3 allows you to use a variety of items that can help you eliminate, distract and subdue enemies, or explore the map. Despite the very wide selection of potential equipment the game does not feature crafting - making items yourself.

A minor exception to this rule is the final mission of the campaign. There, Agent 47 may come across the workbench shown in the images above. It will allow you to install a Homemade Silencer on your gun.

Despite the lack of crafting in Hitman 3, you don't have to worry about having to rely on standard equipment most of the time - Hitman 3: Is crafting available in the game? - FAQ - Hitman 3 Guide

Despite the lack of crafting in Hitman 3, you don't have to worry about having to rely on standard equipment most of the time.

  1. You can unlock new pieces of equipment through rewards, for example through reaching new mastery levels in major locations or completing escalation contracts. Reward items are made available permanently, meaning that you can select them during all subsequent playthroughs of a mission, including missions other than the one in which you got the item.
  2. You can find useful items while exploring the maps. Some of them lie in plain sight, while others may, for example, belong to enemies that must first be eliminated. Obtaining this type of loot may allow you to complete certain challenges (e.g. poisoning mission targets) without having to bring any gear on the mission with you. The downside is that the items you collect will not stay with you after you complete the mission and you will have to pick them up again if you replay the mission.
