Berserkers are extremely dangerous warriors. Even though their armor is weak, they are fast. However, these stats aren't the most important for Berserkers. These units have a lot of health points - a fully upgraded unit has 160 HP. They also deal massive damage and have health regeneration - at first, they are able to regenerate 10 health points but on the last level, they are able to replenish 25 points. This makes them one of the most versatile and deadly melee units in the game. When combined with Dwarven Hammers or heroes who can slow enemies down, Berserkers will be able to a huge threat to their enemies. Their weakness is their armor. You can help them a bit by placing Berserkers on forest or fortification tiles.
