Dwarven Hammers have a lot of health points, especially after you upgrade them. Besides that, they also have durable armor. They have two weaknesses - small movement reach and weak attack. They deal a very small amount of damage which means that they are useless when it comes to eliminating enemies. Their task is to keep enemies away from allies. Dwarven Hammer is the cheapest unit to recruit and teleport on a battlefield.
