Go over the wall and take the ladder up. Go forward, then left, and approach the gate with three runes. Some more searching of the runes has to be done. First, go to the observation tower and get onto the bridge. Use the protruding pole to create the first symbol ("P"-shaped).

Go to the wooden houses. You will easily notice one of the props, which is shaped exactly like the rune we need. Focus on it and you'll get the rune.

The last rune.

Run into the house on the right - use the Lorestone and look for another hidden rune. You should easily find the one shown above. You have to look at it from the outside. Focus on it and create another rune.

Run towards the next gate.

Go left and unlock the door. Go through it and approach the rune gate. You will se a monument - activate it for the last time to start the fire. Run forward and you will see some quite gruesome scenes. Fortunately, Senua will come round and stand before Surt to challenge him.

Bossfight - Surt

Focus on dodging the powerful strikes.

Surt is a slow, very strong opponent, who also knows a couple of tricks. Below, you'll find a breakdown of his fighting style and a few suggestions about how to win with him quickly.

1. Striking with the sword - Surt wields a greatsword. You might have a hunch when you see him that even a single strike will be able to end Senua's life. However, he's super slow. Dodge and attack from a flank. Don't even think about blocking.
2. Kick - Surt will sometimes try to stun you with a kick. Because he's so huge, this move is very clearly telegraphed, so there's no real difficulty in avoiding it.

When the boss pierces his sword into the ground, charge and attack with strong hits.

1. Gathering flames - Surt will kneel and start gathering flames. The voices will warn you that he's becoming stronger. You should fire up focus and attack with strong hits to stop him.
2. Fire armor - A coating of fire will protect the boss - direct attacks will hurt Senua. The only solution is to use focus.

The enemy will soon drop dead, and you will get another mark needed to open the gates of Helheim. You have to go back to the chamber with gates to continue the adventure.
