Right away you will find another Lorestone. Approach the door and get the symbol. On the right, there's a passage in the wall - go through there. Take the ladder up and enter the portal. You will see a bough appearing nearby.
Take the ladder and go down, and then take the stairs upwards. Get on the plank and then the tree bough. Use it to get across and enter another portal. Use the plank to get to the other side and lower the bridge. Then, get back to the portal, enter it and use the bridge to go on.
Use the bough to reach a big nest. Activate focus on the symbol on the door and open it. A pretty long and quite interesting cut-scene will commence. After it ends, you will finally face Valravn.
Bossfight - Valravn
This is a very dangerous enemy. He's lightning fast and can counter in a split-second. Below is a breakdown of his style, skills and strategy that should give you an edge:
- Close combat - He's fast and deals huge damage. He moves a lot; jumps, dodges, does pirouettes, combines attacks in a singe sequence. If you want to play it safe, try rolling on the sides. If you're feeling lucky, try perfect blocks.
- Charge - The enemy sometimes jumps towards you over a huge distance - this is an attack that you definitely need to avoid - roll to the side.
- Throwing his weapon - Valravn will also try to wound you by throwing his weapons. Dodging them isn't easy - you should try perfect blocks (deflects the weapon towards the enemy).
- Summoning enemies - when you manage to wound him, he will flee and summon a group of enemies. Keep your distance and don't let them wound you - you will have better chances against the boss when he comes back.
Sooner or later you'll manage to get him, which will yield the first fragment of the key to the land of the Goddess of Death. You have to come back all the way to the entrance to Valravn's realm. On your way there, you will spot a big, stone face - interact with it; Senua will recognize her mother. Keep going back - there's a fight awaiting.
