Origami's Grave
On this page of our Heavy Rain Game Guide we explain the requirements for unlocking the Origami's Grave epilogue. This is one of two negative endings of Scott Shelby. One of the other playable characters manages to get him and kill him.
This epilogue assumes that Scott died at the hands of one of the other heroes. Conditions for obtaining this epilogue:
Scott is defeated by any of the characters who have reached the chapters of the Old Warehouse and the crime scene. Ethan, Norman or Madison may kill him.
An interesting fact is that Lauren may appear in the epilogue. This will happen if she is rescued from a sinking vehicle in the Trapped scene and stands over Shelby's grave. Otherwise, the camera will show the grave of his twin brother.
Unpunished
On this page of our Heavy Rain Game Guide we explain the requirements for unlocking the Unpunished epilogue. This is the best ending for Scott Shelby, who avoids responsibility for his actions.
This epilogue assumes that the police have failed to capture the origami killer, as a result of which Scott may still be on the prowl. Requirements for getting this ending:
Killer manages to escape in the [Old Warehouse]. This may be the result of the following events:
- None of the characters reach the crime scene. The Old Warehouse chapter will not be played out at all. Ethan won't make it if he hasn't found an address or if he's permanently in custody. Madison won't make it unless she hacked into Shelby's computer or died earlier. Norman won't make it if he misinterpreted the tracks, accused the wrong person, or died earlier.
- Scott wins the battle with any of the characters. in the Old Warehouse chapter.
Lauren died in the Trapped chapter - playing as Scott you had to give up the idea of saving her.

A Mother's Revenge
this page of our Heavy Rain Game Guide we explain the requirements for unlocking the A Mother's Revenge epilogue. This is one of two negative endings of Scott Shelby. He is not detected by the police, but it is still reached by the hand of justice.
This epilogue assumes that Killer managed to escape the police, but he cannot escape from a mother in grief. Requirements for getting this ending:
The killer was not caught and he is still on the loose. Requirements for getting this ending:
