On this page of the Halo Infinite game guide, you will find information about how to modify the HUD - user interface. We describe how you can modify the way interface elements are displayed and disable HUD completely for better immersion.
All settings related to HUD can be found in the User Interface (UI) tab in options. The most important thing is the first position there, which allows you to disable HUD. However, this is not a good idea because the screen, by default, displays a lot of useful information about weapons, ammunition, active grenades and gadgets, the location of the nearest enemies marked on the radar, and the current objectives of the mission.
A better idea is to customize the user interface to your preferences. You can:
- set the HUD opacity to make it more visible or less distracting,
- disable tips and tutorials active by default,
- choose how the text appears on the screen (in a separate Accessibility tab, you will also find the option to set the font size),
- set horizontal and vertical display margin.
