On this page of the guide to Halo Infinite we've listed all seven Banished Outposts. You'll learn where exactly the enemy bases are located on the Zeta Halo ring, how to take them over and how are you rewarded for doing so.

Basic information about the outposts

Banished Outposts can be described as large enemy bases. They're heavily guarded areas populated by huge groups of the Banished. The enemies can also call in reinforcements after you begin your assault. This means it's optimal to attack the outposts along with other marines you can take with you in a vehicle, although you must know that the outposts' gates are closed by default. You can bypass the gate with your Grappleshot if you're assaulting the outpost alone, but if you're bringing allies you must locate some switches to open the gate by using the scanner.

The outposts are marked on the map with purple icons. You can take care of them at any point of the campaign. You don't have to capture them before beating the game, as they remain available even after beating the main story and entering the post-game.

You'll have a few simple tasks to do in each outpost. These may include sabotaging hostile constructions, freeing allies or permanently opening all gates. These tasks are easy for the most part. The only objective that could give you trouble is entering certain buildings. Use the scanner to find connections (yellow lines - example pictured above) - you may have to reach a switch or an energy source to turn off forcefields.

Capturing outposts rewards you with Valor points - 100 Valor for each one. You can also fast travel to captured outposts, although new enemies can appear in them later on despite you taking over the area.

There are a few collectibles in each outpost - we've listed them in the secrets chapter. The outposts also hold many Banished vehicles you can use to traverse the game world. Capturing all seven Banished outposts rewards you with the Bunker Buster achievement.
