This page of the guide to Halo Infinite covers the most important information about Valor. You will learn what Valor is, how to accumulate Valor points and how the game rewards increasing Valor.
Earning Valor points
Valor is similar to reputation points. You get it in the campaign for various heroic actions. Mainly:
- completing story missions - you will get Valor after completing only selected tasks,
- completing bigger enemy locations, e.g. bases of the Banished,
- helping UNSC soldiers.
By hovering over mission, location, and activity icons on the Zeta Halo ring map, you can find out what rewards you may expect - the example in the picture shows an activity associated with a reward of 30 valor points.
Once you complete a mission or activity that will give you Valor, you will see a notification about the acquired points (example in the picture).
Rewards for Valor
Valor points unlock various permanent rewards which you can view in a separate tab. These include e.g. new vehicles, weapons and gadgets or support from new types of UNSC marines.
You can see how many points you currently have in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. Each locked item also specifies how much Valor you need to unlock it.
You can collect your rewards by visiting the FOB bases you took over. Each of them contains a few separate stations - they allow you to "summon" vehicles and equipment. You don't have to pay extra for these items, so this is a good way to e.g. get back a weapon that you previously exchanged for another.
