General hints

  1. During the Mulligan phase, it is of paramount importance that you dispose of all Imperial Golems. They will be played later on in combination with the Leader Card and will be brought immediately to the table.
  2. If the game starts with your turn, an ideal way to open the game is playing Cynthi or a Leader Card, in order to summon Imperial Golems and decrease your own deck in size. What is even more, this will allow you to reveal up to 3 cards, so you can decide to reveal the opponent's strategy or reveal your own units if you have Daerlan Foot Soldiers.
  3. Remember that playing Cantarella, you can put the first card that you draw to the bottom of the deck, by pressing RMB. LMB draws the first one of them.
  4. If possible, play Regis: Higher Vampire in the first round, before the opponent decreases their deck, to consume the unit that may have a decisive effect on the whole game.
  5. Remember that the card Consumed by Regis: Higher Vampire go to the cemetery, so the opponent may retrieve, if only they have rejuvenating cards. This is why you should choose wisely.
  6. Remember that Renew is useful only if there are Gold units in one of the cemeteries.
  7. Remember to use Leo Bonhart in combination with Fire Scorpion or Daerlan Foot Soldier. Later into the game, you can also use a strengthened Spotter, to deal high damage to the opponent's unit.
  8. Remember to use Leo Bonhart when you still have unrevealed units. Otherwise, you will not be able to activate his ability.
  9. Use Egan to Block units that are important to the opponent. For example, while fighting against a Monster deck. For example, while fighting against a monster deck, Block units with the abilities of Resistance or Consume, conjuration or Nekkers.
  10. Use Vanhemar wisely. For example, if you play against a Monster deck, save one card to clear the table of unfavorable Weather Effects. In other situations, when there are, at least, 8 enemy units on the table, you can deal a total of 18 damage with Stammelforda's Tremors.
  11. Remember that Peter Saar Gwynleve first Resets a given unit and then deals damage. Hold back with playing this card until the opponent strengthens that unit. This way, you will fully take advantage of that card.
  12. Remember to use and Daerlan Foot Soldiers and Fire Scorpions with Vattier De Rideaux, Leo Bonhart or Alchemist to take full advantage of their potential.
  13. Try not to play all strongest units at once. If they have equal number of Strength points, a single Scorch cast by the opponent may bring on a catastrophe.
  14. Place the strengthened Spotters in a way that makes it impossible for the opponent to eliminate them all at once using Geralt: Igni. It is best to play each Spotter to a single row.
