Racial skills | Hero development Guild Wars 2 Guide

When choosing the one of five available races, you choose also the racial skills, which could be unlocked in the further game. Those are the slot skills and may contain every subcategory: healing, utility and elite. They're weaker than the class' skills, so the race choice isn't crucial for the character's power. Every hero has six abilities to get:
Human

Healing |  Prayer to Dwaina
| Restores health. |
Utility |  Prayer to Kormir
| Cancels three negative effects. |
Utility |  Prayer to Lyssa
| Buffs hero with one positive effect and gives one negative to the enemy. |
Elite |  Avatar of Melandru
| Changes you into Avatar of Melandru. |
Elite |  Hounds of Balthazar
| Summons two Hounds of Balthazar |
Elite |  Reaper of Grenth
| For 15 seconds nearby enemies are poisoned and chilled . |

| Summons offensive 7-Series Golem. |
Elite |  Summon D-Series Golem
| Summons defensive D-Series Golem. |

| Summons an armor for you or your ally. |
