How to unlock shortcuts to the city in Graveyard Keeper? Graveyard Keeper Guide and Walkthrough

Traveling in Graveyard Keeper takes lots of time. Traveling to a city could take up to a few hours - crossing the marshes and the fields take a lot of time. There's a shortcut, though, and you can find early on in the game. Here's an exact guide to opening the shortcut into the city.

The path to the city is in the dungeons, underneath the house. In order to open the door, you need 4 simple iron parts, 2 wooden planks, and a wood wedge.

However, in order to create wood planks and wood, you need to unlock two technologies - Firewood and Woodworking. They are located in the Building branch. This allows you to create these parts.

Then go to the blacksmith. There you can buy simple iron parts or do a mission for him. If you bring 2 pieces of slime he will give you 5 simple iron parts.

With all the resources, go underground and open the door. Then go to the right, until the end and take the ladder up. You will find yourself at the center.
