There are four types of points in Graveyard Keeper. Three of them (blue, red and green) are used to improve and develop the technology tree. This allows you to expand your environment and complete in-game missions. If you do not develop the technology tree you will be unable to complete the game.
We have created a detailed description of the technology tree on a separate page to make it easier for you to make decisions about your development in Graveyard Keeper.
You will gain green points by performing activities related to food, drinks and agricultural products. We have prepared a list of steps you can take to get green points, along with the number of points you can get for each task.
Examining vines. In several places on the map you will find growing vines, which are located mainly behind the bridge on the marshes. They are shown in the screen shot above. You can score 5 points from them.
Sand digging. You will find sand mountains on the river banks and you can earn up to 10 points for digging them out.
Harvesting crops. If you take care of your farm you will be able to harvest new vegetables every few days. Each harvest gives you 5 points.
Collecting resources available on the map. If you want to get green points quickly you can walk around the area to pick flowers and fruits. However, this is only worthwhile at the beginning of the game, because each such interaction nets you only one green point.
Woodworking. You can earn 1 to 5 points for cutting down trees, creating planks and chopping wood.
You'll get red points by doing things like building machines, collecting resources and by crafting new weapons. We have created a list of steps you can take to get red points. Additionally, we have included information on the number of points scored for a given activity.
Stone and iron mining. However, this is only worthwhile at the beginning of the game, because each such interaction gives you only one red point. However, if you need to get raw materials anyway, it is worth going around the area and collecting stones and iron.
Crafting new tools. You can create new equipment using Anvil. Simply approach the Anvil and a message will appear that contains information about the weapons you can create. Required materials will be shown too. You will get 5 points for each crafting process.
Crafting new items. When you create new equipment or tools you will get about 10 points.
You will gain blue points by engaging in Church and Faith activities. We have created a list of steps you can take to score blue points. Additionally, we have included information on the number of points scored for a given activity.
In order to be able to earn blue points you must complete a bowl-related mission for the Episcop. This mission is described in detail on the page dedicated to tips for story mission in Graveyard Keeper.
Celebrate masses. You can earn up to 10 points for celebrating a mass in the church.
Give the bowls to the Episcop. After giving 20 clay bowls to Episcop you will get your first 10 points.
There are books in Graveyard Keeper that you can buy from the Astrologer. You can only buy one book of a given type. The color of the book depends on the points you earn.
- Green book - green points;
- Blue book - blue points;
- Red book - red points.
Reading a book will earn you from 10 to 50 points - just open the inventory and use the item.
Science points make it easier to earn the other kinds of points. In order to get to the learning table, first you have to take a skull from a grave and give it to the Astrologer on Sloth Day. This will give you the key to the church basement.
To get a science point, you need to remove the skin from your body and convert it into Pig skin. This will give you four pig skins, which you will be able to process into pages.
Put the page on the table and convert it into science points.
Then you can put any item on the table, add science points to it, and convert it into specific points of your choice.
- Plants and crops - green points;
- Rocks and resources - red points;
- Sacral objects - blue points.
How to get blue points quickly
From the bodies delivered to the morgue you can cut out organs and various elements such as brain, intestine, heart, flesh, blood, fat, skin, bone and skull. Each of them can be used only once per study table.
By extracting organs and various types of gibs from the corpses you can damage or destroy them. But you don't have to worry about it if you have the possibility to burn your corpses. Burnt corpses do not have a quality level.
Using human body elements on a study table can get you a lot of blue points. We have prepared a list of organs with a certain number of points you can obtain from them:
- Brain - loosing 3 faith and 3 science points will get you 50 blue points,
- Intestine - loosing 3 faith and 3 science points will get you 50 blue points,
- Heart - using the heart on the table will consume 3 faith and 3 science points, but you will get 50 blue points,
- Flesh - loosing 1 faith and 1 science point you will get 20 blue points,
- Blood - using blood on the table will consume 1 faith and 1 science point, but in return you will get 20 blue points,
- Fat - loosing 1 faith and 1 science point you will get 20 blue points,
- Skin - if you use the skin on the study table you can get 20 blue points, but you will use 1 faith and 1 science point,
- Bone - the bone will give you only 10 blue points,
- Skull - loosing 1 faith and 1 science point will get you 20 blue points.
