Gran Turismo 7: Career mode - Chapters / Menus 21-30 Gran Turismo 7 guide, tips

This page of the Gran Turismo 7 guide contains a walkthrough of the menus (chapters) 21-30 of the career mode. You will learn about their objectives and unique rewards.

Last update: 04 April 2022

This page of the Gran Turismo 7 game guide contains the third part of the career mode walkthrough. We're specifically including the descriptions of Menus 21 - 30. You'll learn about the available chapters and the unique rewards (vehicles, tracks, new options in the main menus) obtainable by taking care of Menus 21-30.

Menu 21: Championship: Asia-Oceania Championship

This chapter tasks you with beating your first three-race championship with every race taking place on a different track - Gran Turismo 7: Career mode - Chapters / Menus 21-30 - Career - Gran Turismo 7 Guide

This chapter tasks you with beating your first three-race championship with every race taking place on a different track. These are:

  1. Tokyo Expressway - South Counterclockwise
  2. Fuju International Speedway
  3. Mount Panorama Motor Racing Circuit

The championship also requires your car to originate from Japan or Korea and limits you to only using road cars. The latter requirement prohibits you from choosing racing cars, such as those from Gr.3 and Gr.4 categories. You'll have to use a civilian car.

Once again, the Nissan R32 GT-R is a safe bet but you can also use any other Japanese or Korean car from your garage. The championship's recommended PP is 600 but there is no upper limit, so you can significantly exceed the recommendation with no ill effects. The championship itself is nothing special. If this is your first time on Mount Panorama or you don't know the track well it's a good idea to practice it beforehand, as it contains many narrow sections during which a slight mistake can send you crashing against a wall.

To complete this menu, you must complete the championship in at least 3rd place (the sum of points from all three races) - Gran Turismo 7: Career mode - Chapters / Menus 21-30 - Career - Gran Turismo 7 Guide

To complete this menu, you must complete the championship in at least 3rd place (the sum of points from all three races). The prize for winning the championship is 50,000 credits. You can also draw a random car from the following pool:

  1. BMW M3 Sport Evolution '89 - if you don't get it here you'll have another opportunity in menu 22
  2. BMW M3 '03 - if you don't get it here you'll have another opportunity in menu 22
  3. BMW M4 '14

This is the only time the BMW M4 '14 appears as a reward. It's a modern model though, so it can be easily purchased at Brand Central (for 120,000 credits) without having to wait for it to appear in the used cars menu.

Menu 21 rewards:

  1. Free random car - BMW M3 Sport Evolution '89, BMW M3 '03 or BMW M4 '14.
  2. Unlocking the Red Bull Ring, Dragon Trail and Nurburgring tracks.

Menu 22: Collection: BMW M3

As usual, you have three races to complete (or less, if you already have one of the needed cars) - Gran Turismo 7: Career mode - Chapters / Menus 21-30 - Career - Gran Turismo 7 Guide

As usual, you have three races to complete (or less, if you already have one of the needed cars). Your objective is to collect three different generations of BMW M3. These are:

  1. BMW M3 Sport Evolution '89 - This car was available earlier as a random draw in Menu 21, and if you got it back then you can ignore it now or try to get it again
  2. BMW M3 '03 - This car was available earlier as a random draw in Menu 21, and if you got it back then you can ignore it now or try to get it again
  3. BMW M3 '07

The races take place at Nurburgring GP, Red Bull Ring and Dragon Trail. Recommended PP is 550. You can use a BMW won from the previous championship or select a different car, but there are three limitations you have to bear in mind - your car must originate from Europe (all European countries are fair game, not only Germany), have an FR layout and be a road vehicle (strictly racing cars are forbidden).

Menu 22 rewards:

  1. Free cars from the collection - BMW M3 Sport Evolution '89, BMW M3 '03, BMW M3 '07.
  2. Roulette Ticket.

Menu 23: Collection: Alfa Romeo

Once again you must complete three races, with the chapter focusing on obtaining three different civilian Alfa Romeo models - Gran Turismo 7: Career mode - Chapters / Menus 21-30 - Career - Gran Turismo 7 Guide

Once again you must complete three races, with the chapter focusing on obtaining three different civilian Alfa Romeo models. These are:

  1. Alfa Romeo MiTo '09
  2. Alfa Romeo 4C '14
  3. Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione '08

The races take place on Sardegna - Road Track, Alsace and Brands Hatch. Recommended PP is 600. You can use your already owned and compatible vehicles in all races (like a BMW obtained from the previous menu) or try unlocking the Alfa Romeo 8C first, as it's the fastest of the three and is easier to drive than the Alfa 4C. We don't recommend racing with the MiTo, as its performance is significantly worse than the other cars and tuning would cost you a lot.

Menu 23 rewards:

  1. Free cars from the collection - Alfa Romeo MiTo '09, Alfa Romeo 4C '14, Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione '08.
  2. Roulette Ticket.

Menu 24: Use Circuit Experience to Learn About a Track

This chapter is unique as it tasks you with familiarizing yourself with the Circuit Experience module which already appeared earlier in Gran Turismo Sport - Gran Turismo 7: Career mode - Chapters / Menus 21-30 - Career - Gran Turismo 7 Guide

This chapter is unique as it tasks you with familiarizing yourself with the Circuit Experience module which already appeared earlier in Gran Turismo Sport. As a reminder, it's purpose is to let you get to know the tracks better - you can try time challenges on parts of the tracks and run laps, trying to get better times. This lets you familiarize yourself with a track and learn how to get good results on it.

Enter European tracks, select Dragon Trail, then choose the Circuit Experience option at the bottom of the screen.

Most tracks in the game have several variations which are treated as separate tracks - Gran Turismo 7: Career mode - Chapters / Menus 21-30 - Career - Gran Turismo 7 Guide

Most tracks in the game have several variations which are treated as separate tracks. To complete this menu you must choose the variation on the right, Dragon Trail - Gardens.

This track' - Gran Turismo 7: Career mode - Chapters / Menus 21-30 - Career - Gran Turismo 7 Guide

This track's Circuit Experience consists of five parts:

  1. Sectors 1-4 let you familiarize yourself with parts of the track.
  2. 1 Lap Attack lets you make a full lap on the track and is the part you need to complete.

To advance through the campaign you need bronze in this specific challenge, that is, complete a lap in less than 1:51.400. You can also of course try to obtain gold in all the challenges. Unfortunately this won't grant you any free cars or unique rewards (not counting the trophies related to Circuit Experience). It will only grant you credits.

The most difficult part of Dragon Trail - Gardens is the beginning, which involves making a few slow corners (as pictured above) - Gran Turismo 7: Career mode - Chapters / Menus 21-30 - Career - Gran Turismo 7 Guide

The most difficult part of Dragon Trail - Gardens is the beginning, which involves making a few slow corners (as pictured above). Try not to aggressively hit the curbs, as they can slow you down.

You should also pay attention in the middle section during which you must take several right turns in a row - maintain a constant speed and make perfect turns. Otherwise you may lose a lot of time.

Menu 24 rewards:

  1. Unlocking the Autodromo Nazionale Monza track .

Menu 25: Championship: European Championship

This is yet another championship consisting of three races on various European tracks - Gran Turismo 7: Career mode - Chapters / Menus 21-30 - Career - Gran Turismo 7 Guide

This is yet another championship consisting of three races on various European tracks:

  1. Dragon Trail - Gardens
  2. Autodromo Nazionale Monza
  3. Nurburgring GP

Recommended PP is 600, your vehicle must originate from Europe (all European brands) and be a road car (racing cars are banned). Take advantage of the lack of an upper PP limit. You can use the BMWs and Alfa Romeos unlocked in Menus 22 and 23 or other European cars.

During this championship you may be faced with rainfall. If it's already raining during the first race you can cancel and restart the championship to try and change the weather. Unfortunately, it may still start raining in subsequent races. Consider purchasing rain tires (at the tuning shop) to be ready for the rain, just in case, and install them before the race begins (you must enter the car settings menu on the race preparation screen).

To complete the championship you must finish in the top 3 (sum of points from all three races) - Gran Turismo 7: Career mode - Chapters / Menus 21-30 - Career - Gran Turismo 7 Guide

To complete the championship you must finish in the top 3 (sum of points from all three races). The prize for winning the championship is 60,000 credits. Finishing in the top three will also let you draw a car from the following pool:

  1. Chevrolet Corvette (C2) '63
  2. Dodge Challenger R / T '70
  3. Ford Focus RS '18 - in case you draw a different vehicle you can still get this one in Menu 26.

Unfortunately, this chapter is the only opportunity to get the Chevrolet Corvette or the Dodge Challenger. If you draw a different vehicle you'll have to check the used car dealership often, hoping they'll eventually be available for purchase.

Menu 25 rewards:

  1. Free random car - Chevrolet Corvette (C2) '63, Dodge Challenger R / T '70 or Ford Focus RS '18.
  2. Unlocking the Colorado Springs track.

Menu 26: Collection: Ford

You have three new races to complete with three different Ford models to collect - Gran Turismo 7: Career mode - Chapters / Menus 21-30 - Career - Gran Turismo 7 Guide

You have three new races to complete with three different Ford models to collect. These are:

  1. Ford Focus RS '18 - This car was available earlier as a random draw in Menu 25, and if you got it back then you can ignore it now or try to get it again
  2. Ford GT '06
  3. Ford F-150 SVT Raptor '11

The races take place at Colorado Springs, Willow Springs Raceway and Daytona International Speedway. Unfortunately they come with a serious handicap - only two pick-ups are allowed. You get the Ford F-150 for free by completing the Colorado Springs race in the top 3, so you should purchase the other pick-up at Brand Central - the Toyota Tundra TRD Pro '19 for 62,000 credits (pictured above). We also recommend spending some more to increase its PP value.

The aforementioned race in Colorado Springs also forces you to wear Dirt tires - Gran Turismo 7: Career mode - Chapters / Menus 21-30 - Career - Gran Turismo 7 Guide

The aforementioned race in Colorado Springs also forces you to wear Dirt tires. Visit the tuning shop and buy the necessary Dirt Tyres from the Club Sports tab. They only cost 4,500 credits, but installing them lowers your PP.

You should remove the Dirt Tyres for the remaining races and use any asphalt tires. As a reminder, this can be changed at the vehicle settings, in the pre-race preparation window.

Menu 26 rewards:

  1. Free cars from the collection - Ford Focus RS '18, Ford GT '06, Ford F-150 SVT Raptor '11.
  2. Unlocking the Special Stage Route X track.

Menu 27: Collection: Chevrolet

This chapter features three new races and tasks you with collecting three different Chevrolet models - Gran Turismo 7: Career mode - Chapters / Menus 21-30 - Career - Gran Turismo 7 Guide

This chapter features three new races and tasks you with collecting three different Chevrolet models. These are:

  1. Chevrolet Corvette C7 '14
  2. Chevrolet Corvette Convertible (C3) '69 - This car was available earlier as a random draw in Menu 12, and if you got it back then you can ignore it now or try to get it again
  3. Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 (C4) '89

The races take place on Laguna Seca Raceway, Daytona International Speedway and Special Stage Route X. For the first time in your career, their recommended PP value is 700. The Ford GT obtained in the previous menu may work well here. You can also unlock the Chevrolet Corvette C7 first and tune it a bit. Luckily there's no upper PP limit so you can upgrade your vehicle as much as you want.

Special Stage Route X is built out of two very long straight lines connected with turns you can make without slowing down, which means its focus is reaching the highest possible speed. The faster your car's max speed, the easier you'll overtake your competitors.

Menu 27 rewards:

  1. Free cars from the collection - Chevrolet Corvette C7 '14, Chevrolet Corvette Convertible (C3) '69, Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 (C4) '89.
  2. Roulette Ticket.

Menu 28: Get a Wide-Body American Car

This chapter focuses on installing a Wide-Body on any American car from your collection - we, personally, chose the Ford GT '06 - Gran Turismo 7: Career mode - Chapters / Menus 21-30 - Career - Gran Turismo 7 Guide

This chapter focuses on installing a Wide-Body on any American car from your collection - we, personally, chose the Ford GT '06.

Go to GT Auto and enter the Maintenance & Servicing menu. You have to pay for the Wide Body modification. Its price varies depending on the car (the faster / more exclusive it is, the more it costs). In our case we had to spend 50,000 credits.

Note - Installing the Wide Body modification may change the vehicle's current PP. You should remember that if you're planning to use it later on for competitions with a PP cap.

Menu 28 rewards:

  1. Unlocking the Autodromo de Interlagos track .

Menu 29: Championship: Pan-American Championship

This chapter tasks you with completing a championship consisting of three races on various North and South American tracks - Gran Turismo 7: Career mode - Chapters / Menus 21-30 - Career - Gran Turismo 7 Guide

This chapter tasks you with completing a championship consisting of three races on various North and South American tracks:

  1. Blue Moon Bay Speedway
  2. Daytona Road Course
  3. Autodromo de Interlagos

You must use a car of American origin. The recommended PP is 700, so theoretically you could use the same machine you used in Menu 27. Still, you should make sure you choose a vehicle with good traction, as the first race on Blue Moon Bay Speedway is considered an oval race and demands taking wide turns at very high speeds. The Chevrolet Corvette C7 or Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 are good choices here.

As usual, you must complete the championship in the top three - Gran Turismo 7: Career mode - Chapters / Menus 21-30 - Career - Gran Turismo 7 Guide

As usual, you must complete the championship in the top three. The prize for taking 1st place is 70,000 credits. Finishing in the top three will also let you draw a car from the following pool:

  1. Porsche 911 GT3 (996) '01
  2. Porsche 911 GT3 (997) '09
  3. Porsche 911 Carrera RS CS (993) '95 - you'll be able to unlock a very similar car, a 911 Carrera CS (993), in Menu 31.

Unfortunately, this chapter is your only opportunity to win the '01 and '09 911 models. You'll have to buy them if you draw something else. Fortunately these cars are modern enough to be available at Brand Central without the need to look for them at used car dealerships.

Menu 29 rewards:

  1. Free random car - Porsche 911 GT3 (996) '01, Porsche 911 GT3 (997) '09 or Porsche 911 Carrera RS CS (993) '95.
  2. Roulette Ticket.

Menu 30: Upgrade Your Porsche

This menu is supposed to teach you about the PP caps you'll start encountering in the campaign's final chapters - Gran Turismo 7: Career mode - Chapters / Menus 21-30 - Career - Gran Turismo 7 Guide

This menu is supposed to teach you about the PP caps you'll start encountering in the campaign's final chapters. In this case you must choose any owned Porsche, take it to the tuning shop and upgrade it so its PP is in range of 600-650.

As a reminder, you can see your current PP and all its changes in the upper-right corner of the screen (pictured above):

  1. Green means installing the part will increase PP.
  2. Red means installing the part will decrease PP. This may be due to its characteristics (for example installing a part unrelated to the car's performance) or swapping out parts for lower-quality ones.
Here are some important tips for tuning vehicles in a specific PP range - Gran Turismo 7: Career mode - Chapters / Menus 21-30 - Career - Gran Turismo 7 Guide

Here are some important tips for tuning vehicles in a specific PP range:

  1. Some parts increase PP more than others (such as a turbocharger or racing tires). On one hand it's a positive effect, but on the other it can prevent you from installing other important parts (like better brakes or suspension).
  2. Exceeding the PP limit can be troublesome, as if there's a cap you may be prevented from taking the car into a race. We've discussed the problem of having too much PP on a separate page PP - how to lower?. In short - you can install inferior parts or use the unique Power Restrictor and Ballast parts, which are supposed to adjust your car's PP until it meets the requirements.

Menu 30 rewards:

  1. Unlocking the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps track.
