Walkthrough | Chapter 4: The Hecatonchires GoW: Ascension Guide

At the beginning of this chapter you should have about 3000 red orbs, this is the cost of first Kratos weapon upgrade. After buying it, you can use a blow hitting enemies around you, what is obviously useful while being surrounded.

Walk via bridge until you find a small building. On left of the door you find Letter from the Scribe of Hecatonchires . Pick it up and enter the building.

After a cut scene you'll run into a bigger group of enemies, consisting of parasites and prisoners with spears. They can throw spears at Kratos. The missiles are slow, so you can avoid or block them.

Cleaning the arena enrages Fury, who will create a beast out from the Hecatonchire head. Platform on which you're standing will be full of enemies. Avoid beast's attacks, keeping away from its head. Your task is to destroy claws keeping the arena from below. Try to attack them when they appear at the back of the arena. You don't have to focus on claws all the time, but stand as close to them as you can so your freshly bought upgrade damage them too.

When one of claws breaks, fight moves to a part of the bridge. On its right side you find beast from Hand of Hecatonchire, on the left claws of Head of Hecatonchire.

The encounter is rather easy. Attack the one on right, and when he attacks, run on left. When the beast on left attack, move right. Focus on the beast on right and attack him after he attacked you.

Finishing him off makes you partially control this monster, what allows you to send few blows at the giant head.

At the end of encounter, you'll be moved to its eye, where you fight Fury. When she moves up her claw, dodge and attack her. Repeat until the battle ends.
