Valkyrie Olrun - whereabouts
Valkyrie Olrun is in one of the hidden chambers. This chamber is located in the land of Alfheim, which you first visit when during The Light of Alfheim main quest. You can also return to Alfheim after completing this quest.
The entrance to the hidden chamber can be found in the picture above - on one of the islands near the temple.
Fight preparations and description of the duel with Valkyrie Olrun
It's worth preparing for the duel with Olrun and the recommended steps are described in detail on the introduction page of this chapter. As a reminder, it is highly recommended to get the best possible armor (by completing all the favors for the Brok and Sindri dwarves) and enchant your melee weapon with the best (optimally epic) runes available.
Additionally, before reaching the Valkyrie's lair, it's a good idea to equip the berserker's resurrection stone (it allows you to resurrect Kratos once with maximum fury) and to fully charge up the rage bar in order to be able to use it after the start of the duel with Olrun.
The duel with Olrun can be started by attacking the boss before it engages into combat, that is, after it "opens". This Valkyrie is fast, agile, and favors jumps combined with wing strikes. Her spinning attacks and quick stabs are especially powerful.
Olrun can also shoot feathers (a ranged attack) and fly up to attack Kratos from the air. Avoiding Olrun's flying attacks can be tricky, as there is little time to react. It may be a good idea to opt for a safer dodge in this situation.
Normal attacks can be used to weaken Olrun, but runic attacks will be more effective. Additionally, activating Spartan Rage can deprive the Valkyrie of a large amount of health.
Olrun can occasionally use single red attacks, and upon noticing this color the only solution is to dodge, as these attacks cannot be stopped.
