How to fully upgrade Blades of Chaos?

1. In addition to the Leviathan Axe, Kratos will obtain his second weapon in about half of the game, which are the Blades of Chaos - well-known from previous editions of God of War.
2. Same as with the Leviathan Axe upgrades, it is required to fight with trolls - sometimes they drop Chaos Flames, which are used to improve Blades of Chaos in the dwarven store.
3. However, the stairs will start at level four, cause you have to visit Muspelheim to upgrade your weapon to the next level.

How to get Raging Inferno in Muspelheim?

You can get Raging Inferno from Muspelheim after victorious battle with Gondul.

1. Muspelheim is a fiery realm in God of War, which is entirely optional to visit. To unlock this area you must find 4 pieces of Muspelheim Language Ciphers in purple chests - which has been specifically described in other section of this game guide.
2. When you reach Muspelheim, you have to complete 5 trials and reach the very top of the mountain. There, you will have to fight with a very powerful Valkyrie - Gondul. This boss is extremely strong - see our combat and fighting with Valkyries chapter for more details.
3. After the fight, you will get the Raging Inferno of Muspelheim.
4. Now go to Brok or Sindri, select the Resources tab and buy Chaos Flame. That way, you'll be able to upgrade your Blade of Chaos to the fifth level!
