Alfheim - all collectibles, list
On this page of the God of War game guide you will find a list of all the secrets in the Alfheim. The following description explains what types of items you can collect and where they are hidden. We have also included the Valkyrie encounters.
List of secrets
You can find a lot of different secrets in the Alfheim location:
- 6x Artifacts
- 1x Mystic Gateway
- 1x Shop
- 2x Lore markers
- 1x Valkyries
- 2x Odin's ravens
- 5x Legendary chests
- 4x Nornir's chests
- 2x Realm Tear Encounters
Lore Markers
Lore Marker 1
When you can obtain: During the mission "The Light of Alfheim".
Commentary: The marker can be found on the bridge, at the beginning of Alfheimu.
Lore Marker 2
When you can obtain: During the mission "The Light of Alfheim".
Commentary: The marker can be found on the wall - slightly after the chamber to which you have jumped through the tunnel (the one next to blacksmith's shop).
Important: Although the game doesn't count it, you can also obtain a third marker - in the place where you dropped down the crystal (near the last legendary chest). Simply place the stone in the spot and read the information.
Artifacts
Artifact 1
When you can obtain: During the mission "The Light of Alfheim".
Commentary: The artifact can be found near the coast.
Artifact 2
When you can obtain: During the mission "The Light of Alfheim".
Commentary: The artifact can be found behind the ghost bridge, near the place where you fought the ancient.
Artifact 3
When you can obtain: During the mission "The Light of Alfheim".
Commentary: Once you use the crane for the second time and go to the underground complex, you can collect the artifact from the dead elf near the elevator.
Artifact 4
When you can obtain: During the mission "The Light of Alfheim".
Commentary: Once you drop the blue crystal in the room with targets you will unlock access to another artifact.
Artifact 5
When you can obtain: During the mission "The Light of Alfheim".
Commentary: The fifth artifact is near the other ones - you must lower the bridge and enter another cell.
Artifact 6
When you can obtain: During the mission "The Light of Alfheim".
Commentary: The last artifact is on one of the islands near the temple.
Odin's ravens
Odin's Raven 1
When you can obtain: During the mission "The Light of Alfheim".
Commentary: The raven can be seen on one of the islands - it's sitting on a pillar of light.
Odin's Raven 2
When you can obtain: After the quest "The Sickness".
Commentary: The raven is sitting in the Hidden Chamber, near the Valkyrie.
Legendary chests
Legendary Chest 1
When you can obtain: During the mission "The Light of Alfheim".
Commentary: The artifact can be found in the cave. You must throw the axe in such way that when it returns, it destroys all plants.
Legendary Chest 2
When you can obtain: During the mission "The Light of Alfheim".
Commentary: To gain access to the legendary chest you must aim at the three plants at the right time.
Legendary Chest 3
When you can obtain: During the mission "The Light of Alfheim".
Commentary: You will find it after you used the elevator and had ridden deeper into the temple.
Legendary Chest 4
When you can obtain: During the mission "The Light of Alfheim".
Commentary: You will find it near the place where you saved Atreus from the attack of dark elves. You must defeat the ancient that is guarding the chest.
Legendary Chest 5
When you can obtain: During the mission "The Light of Alfheim".
Commentary: The last legendary chest can be encountered near the light in which Kratos had visions.
Nornir Chests
Nornir Chest 1
When you can obtain: During the mission "The Light of Alfheim".
Commentary: You must hit three bells to open the chest.
Nornir Chest 2
When you can obtain: During the mission "The Light of Alfheim".
Commentary: Once you ride the elevator into the water, you will find it easily - it will be on your way.
Nornir Chest 3
When you can obtain: During the mission "The Light of Alfheim".
Commentary: Near the shop - just behind the large bridge that leads to the temple.
Nornir Chest 4
When you can obtain: During the mission "The Light of Alfheim".
Commentary: The chest can be found during the main mission.
Realm Tear Encounters
When you can obtain: During the mission "The Light of Alfheim".
Commentary: You must reach one of the islands near the temple and open the gate.
