On this page of the God of War game guide you will find the walkthrough of Behind the Lock mission, in which you can use the magic chisel to open a secret door. Our walkthrough explains how to get back to the boat safely and when to start the journey towards Tyr's Vault.
Return to the boat
Approach the door - thanks to the chisel you can open this type of doors (including hidden chambers). Wait for the chisel to become hot (you have to find the right moment - pay attention to your gamepad's vibrations) and hit a door with it. Two strikes and a door will be open.
Move forward. In the next few rooms you can open a red chest and destroy three runes that will allow you to get the items hidden behind the grate.
Go to Sindri and upgrade the axe. Head to the dining room's door and open it by using the chisel. Use the exploding crystal to open another red chest. Place the blue crystal into the opening to get a valuable item.
Go forward - unlock the line and toss Atreus on the scaffolding. Go back to the spinning wheel and move the boy to the passage on the left.
Freeze the lift and climb up the chain. Get on the line and recall your axe. Use the chisel to open the passage to another room.
Walk the familiar path towards the boat. A hidden chamber is on the right - you can open it if you want to but remember that a powerful Valkyrie awaits you there. You can try to fight with her but it is better to go back here once Kratos gets a better gear.

Go to Tyrs Vault
Get in the boat and head to Tyr's Temple. The entrance to Tyr's Vault is on the bottom - go inside.
Approach the bowl with sand - one of the Thor's sons will appear. He wants to avenge his brother's death. Kratos won't allow him to do that. Atreus gets sick and the only way to help him is to use the Witch's help.
