God of War: How to use fast travel? God of War Guide and Walkthrough

The world of God of War is really big and traveling between places takes a lot of time. On this page, we'll show you how to use the fast travel option to make it easier for you to travel between lands to complete quests and find treasures.

Fast travel in the game takes place by using the so-called Mystic Gateways:

1. You can unlock the mystic gateways early during the game, shortly after you visit the Shores of Nine.
2. Initially, the mystic gateways will only offer a return to the Brok store, which resides in the Tyr's Temple. Over time, you will be able to travel between different gates, which will make it easier to return to previously visited places.
3. To use a gate, you must approach it and it will be activated. From now on it will be on the list of available places for teleportation.
4. After using the gate, you'll find yourself in a Between the Realms location. It's an interactive "charging bar" where you'll have to stay for a while. Once the location is loaded, a teleport will appear, use it, and you will move to the destination.
5. Other worlds, such as Helheim and Alfheim, are an exception - you have to move to them through the Chamber of the Realms in the Tyr's Temple. When you're there, you can use the mystic gateways of the desired realm and jump from one point to another.
6. The game does not provide for an immediate use of fast travel at any time - you always have to use a mystic gateway. Fortunately, they have been scattered very densely and practically every location in the game has at least one of them.
