You'll meet your first opponent of this kind practically at the beginning of the game, so you need to learn an effective strategy to fight these huge opponents as soon as possible.

How to kill trolls?

1. The trolls are available in several different variants. However, they always carry a big boulder with them, which they use to attack as soon as you get close to them.
2. The enemy has powerful but slow attacks, which are usually easy to evade. It's not worth playing with blocks - you should make a break and cut the enemy when he's standing still for a while.
3. Each troll has special attacks - sometimes it's a shockwave, sometimes it's a teleport or a fireball attack. You must avoid enemy attacks because they deal a lot of damage. By default, you should also always keep close to the troll so that it uses mainly close-range attacks.

1. Often, besides the troll, there are other opponents on the arena. First of all, you should eliminate minor enemies and simply hit the mini boss calmly. You can also use the axe throws, especially if you unlock several skills.
2. Order Atreus to constantly shoot his enemy with arrows - that's valuable support and you'll always take extra damage.
3. Don't forget about Spartan Rage either - it can deal a lot of damage to the enemy, and will heal you a little the time it's active.
4. After their death, the trolls usually drop items that you can use to improve your weapons. This will unlock your new skills and give you much stronger blows.
