On this page of the God of War game guide you can find the walkthrough of A Realm Beyond quest, which is the prelude to your first visit to Alfheim. Our walkthrough explains, among other things, how to set up the bridge, how to use the chamber of worlds and how to get to Alfheim.
Follow the witch
Follow the witch. She will tear down the roots, allowing you to use the lift. Use it to go down - you will save a lot of time and permanently unlock this shortcut.
Enter the cave and proceed forward. You will reach the Tyra shrine - on your way, you will encounter some collectibles, but we'll take care of them later.
Go to the lower level of the shrine and wait for the witch to create the ghost bridge.
Realign the bridge
Set up the bridge so that you can get to different worlds. Interact with the mechanism and let Kratos demonstrate his godly power.
Follow the witch
Go back to the witch. She will take you to the chamber, from which you can go to different realms. Right now, you only can set out to Alfheim. Don't worry though, you'll get a chance to visit other realms soon enough.

Travel to Alfheim
Go to the center of the chamber and choose Alfheim as the destination.
If you haven't done it before, you could devote some time to explore the islands. You will participate in a few quite difficult fights, so try to prepare.
