In God of War Ragnarok there is an optional challenge involving finding berserker gravestones and fighting their souls who are optional bosses. Unlocking the quest
This task will appear in your journal after encountering the first berserker gravestone - it can be any of the ones listed below (aside from the final one).
This is the introduction to the berserker challenge - fighting a number of powerful optional bosses. You can start the encounters in any order. Only exception is the final fight (against King Hrolf) which has to be taken upon last.
After successfully winning each fight, you must pick up the sword handle, so the obstacles surrounding the fight arena disappear.
Berserker Soul #1 - Hardrefill the Callous

Berserker Soul #2 - Beigadr the Feared
This encounter takes place in Alberich Island region of Svartalfheim. You can find the walkthrough for this battle on the Beigadr the Feared page of the Bosses chapter.
Berserker Soul #3 - Haklangr the Bearded
To find this soul, you must venture to The Sinkholes region of Vanaheim. The battle against this berserker is described in detail in the Haklangr the Bearded page of the Bosses chapter.
Berserker Soul #4 - Fraekni the Zealous

Berserker Soul #5 - Hvitserkr the Bold
To find this soul, you must venture to Pilgrim's Landing region of Vanaheim. You can find the walkthrough for this battle on the Hvitserk the Bold page of the Bosses chapter.
Berserker Soul #6 - Skjothendi the Unerring
The lair of this boss is located in the Mist Fields in Niflheim - Kratos can visit this location only after completing the main story. We've described this battle in detail in Skjothendi the Unerring page of the Bosses chapter.
Berserker Soul #7 - Hjalti the Stolid
To find this boss, you must travel to The Forbidden Sands region of Alfheim. The gravestone is unlocked only after completing the Song of the Sands favor. We've described this battle in detail on the Hjalti the Stolid page of the Bosses chapter.
Berserker Souls #8-10 - Svipdagr the Cold and Sisters of Illska
This gravestone is found in Barrens in Alfheim. At first, the gravestone is unavailable - to unlock it, you need to complete the Secret of the Sands Favour. To find strategy for this battle against berserker women, visit Svipdagr and Sisters of Illska page of the Bosses chapter.
Berserker Souls #11-12 - Bodvar the Fierce and Starolfr the Troublesome

Final Berserker - King Hrolf Kraki
The final gravestone can only be interacted withafter defeating all previous berserkers. Once that condition is met, travel to King's Grave in Midgard.
