Nornir Chest #1

1. Reward: Horn of Blood Mead

The first Nornir Chest in The Forbidden Sands in Alfheim is underneath The Elven Sanctum.

Destroy the rubble to get to the secret room under the building. You have to lighten all 3 torches with runes to open the chest.

You must first get rid of the red node by the chest. Throw the axe at the first node covering the crystal near the ground and wait until the rest of the roots are cut.

You will find the first torch on the left side of the chest. You have to shoot several Sigil Arrows so that the enchantment's range covers the torch and the campfire standing next to it. Then shoot a Sigil Arrow into the fire to cause an explosion. The chain reaction should light the torch.

The second torch is on the right side of the chest. This time the campfire is further away from the runes. You have to shoot Sigil Arrow at the same place to increase the range of the enchantment.

First, shoot 3 arrows at the same spot near the campfire, then near the torch 3 times. When you see the circles connect, you can shoot the Sigil Arrow into the fire. The explosion should reach the rune.

The third torch is above the second one, and is blocked by a plant sensitive to sounds.

First, shoot a few Sigil Arrows to connect the 2nd and 3rd torches. Shoot a Sonic Arrow at the plant, and reveal the 3rd torch. Quickly shoot a Sigil Arrow at the 2nd torch - when the rune explodes, a chain reaction will set the third torch on fire.

Nornir Chest #2

1. Prize: Idunn Apple

The second Nornir Chest in The Forbidden Sands region in Alfheim is located in the west.

The path to the chest is blocked by broken column. Go under the obstacle, 1st torch will be on a rock near the chest. Light it with the Blades of Chaos.

Go outside and ignite the 2nd torch using Sigil Arrows and Blades of Chaos.

Turn right. In the distance, you will see the third torch in a rift. Get closer and shoot a few Sigil Arrows at the torch, then a few more at the rock below. Set the rock on fire with Blades of Chaos and wait for the chain reaction to reach the torch.

Legendary Chest #1 - Hardened War Handles

1. Blades Attachment

The first Legendary Chest in the Forbidden Sands in Alfheim is in a cave in the southern part of the region.

You have to first remove all red nodes blocking access to the chest.

Throw the axe at the crystal on the right side of the cave and remove all 3 nodes. Then turn the crystal to the left.

Fire a few Sigil Arrows at the node on the 2nd crystal and a few arrows at the rock next to it. Use the Blades of Chaos to set the enchantment on fire.

Turn the second crystal so the axe can hit the 1st crystal and rebound, removing the remaining red nodes blocking the chest.

Legendary Chest #2 - Jewel of Yggdrasil.

1. Amulet Fragment

The second Legendary Chest in the Forbidden Sands in Alfheim is in The Elven Sanctum.

You will find the chest on the second floor of the building, next to the treasure map.

Lore #1 - Bjarg Stormr

1. Lore Markers

The first Lore in the Forbidden Sands in Alfheim is in the western part of the region.

Jump on the rock and read the runes by the elves' corpses.

Lore #2 - An Examination of Temporal Significance

The second Lore in Alfheim is The Elven Sanctum in the Forbidden Sands.

The scroll lies on a table in the center of the room.

Lore #3 - Rules of the Sanctum

You can find more runes in The Elven Sanctum in the Forbidden Sands region of Alfheim.

The Lore Marker is located by the statue in the main hall.

Lore #4 - The Lost Pages

The fourth Lore in Alfheim is The Elven Sanctum in the Forbidden Sands.

The scroll is on the table to the left of the statue in the main hall.

Lore #5 - Forgotten Tower

1. Treasure Map

You will find the next map in the Elven Sanctuary in the Forbidden Sands in Alfheim.

The Treasure Map is on the upper floor of the building next to the Legendary Chest. The map leads to the Buried Treasure in the northern part of the Forbidden Sands.

Lore #6 - The Arbiters of Knowlage

The sixth Lore in the Forbidden Sands in Alfheim can be found in The Elven Sanctum, in the eastern part of the map.

The collectible is on the upper floor of the building.

Lore #7 - The Enlightened One

The #7 lore item in The Forbidden Sands is next to the huge statue of Freyr.

The find is encountered during Freyr's Gift Favour. The runes will be ready to interact once you complete the puzzle with the crystals

Artifact #1 - Token.

In the Forbidden Sands region of Alfheim, you will find an artifact in the northern part of the region.

Jump on the rock and break through the weak spot. Go through the narrow rift and climb the stairs. The artifact will lie on the ground next to the Yggdrasil Rift.

Artifact #2 - Bracelet

1. Tributes to Freyr

The second artifact in the Forbidden Sands in Alfheim is at the entrance to the The Elven Sanctum.

Grab the handle and jump up. The artifact lies to the right of the door.

Artifact #3 - Trip

1. Kvasir's Poems

Another artifact in the Forbidden Sands in Alfheim can be found on a small tower in the central part of the region.

Go around the tower and climb the wall to the top.

Nine Realms in Bloom

1. Plant name: Dawnbloom

Flower of Nine Realms in Bloom Favor in the Forbidden Sands in Alfheim is in the western part of the region.

The favor will initiate when you pick up 1 of the 9 flowers available in the game.

Odin's Ravens #1

In the Forbidden Sands in Alfheim, you'll find one of Odin's Ravens in the southwestern part of the region.

The Raven is jumping on the rock behind the statue. Throw the Axe or Spear at him.

Odin's Raven #2

The second Odin's Raven in the Forbidden Sands in Alfheim is in the western part of the region, near the entrance to the Burrows.

The Raven flies in circles next to the statue. Use the Axe or Spear to hunt him down.

Odin's Raven #3

The third Odin's Raven in the Forbidden Sands in Alfheim is in the center part of the region.

Odin's Raven #4

Another Odin's Raven in the Forbidden Sands in Alfheim is underneath The Elven Sanctum.

Break the crumbled wall and enter the cave. The bird is flying on the left side, near the torch with runes.

Yggdrasil Rift

There is 1 Yggdrasil Rift in the Forbidden Sands in Alfheim, in the northern part of the region.

Jump on the rock and break through the weak spot. Go through the narrow rift and climb the stairs. The artifact lies next to the Yggdrasil Rift. The collectible is available after completing the game's 12th main mission.

Buried Treasure - Forgotten Tower

In the Forbidden Sands in Alfheim, you will find 1 Buried Treasure, in the northern part of the region.

You will need a map to find the treasure, which you will find in the Elven Sanctum (described above on this page) in the same region. Break through the wall and jump up. The treasure will be on the left.

Berserker Gravestone

1. Berserker name: Hjalti the Stolid.

You can find the Berserker Gravestone in the southern part of the Forbidden Sands in Alfheim.
