The following rewards can be earned for completing this tale:
- A small bonus to your Legend (XP).
- Minor Utility Charm.
- 10x Linen.
Unlocking the quest
You can find this quest marker while exploring the east coast of Iki Island. A shipwreck can be found there.
Investigate burning wreckage
Watch out for wild animals that may be roaming the area. After securing the beach, focus on finding and investigating the interactive areas next to the wreck, namely some black powder, charred corpses and a damaged rudder.
Speak with the survivor
Next to the shipwreck, you will find a surviving raider - you need to talk to him. You'll learn about Yamaneko and his men.
Escape the hwacha fire on the beach
The enemy ship visible in the distance will start firing from the hwacha arrow launcher. The circles will mark where the arrows will land and you must quickly move away from these locations.
Your objective is to leave the beach, so head towards the forest. Enemies will also appear in the area - ignore them and don't try to fight them. Once you're far enough away from the shore and out of range of the hwacha launcher, you'll get your next quest objective.
Find the woman named Sugi
You need to find Sugi by reaching the village located to the south of the tale's starting location. You'll need to investigate a nearby area - the Thieves Rest Lighthouse.
In the small village, search the ruins of the burnt cottage from the screenshot above.
Inside the ruined hut, look around for interactive objects that indicate that someone used to live here. After examining a few items, Sugi will appear and initiate a conversation.
Follow Sugi to confront the visitors
Go outside and, with Sugi, you will need to confront Yamaneko's crew that has just arrived.
Be ready for the fight that will ensue after a short conversation, during which, as always, you should focus on eliminating the enemy shaman first. You don't have to worry about protecting Sugi, because it's impossible for her to die. After winning the battle, walk up to Sugi and talk to her. You will unlock her second quest - Bloodletting.
