General information
Ayato is a five-star character with a Hydro element. He fights with a sword. Her best role is Hydro DPS. It is worth focusing on increasing her ATK, Hydro DMG, Crit DMG and Crit Rate.

Hydro DPS Build
Ayato works perfectly as the main DPS, who will last on the battlefield the longest most of the time. It will be good to both develop her ATK and Hydro DMG.

Several artifact sets are suitable for Ayato, but the two mentioned above are the best for this character. The first is 4x Echoes of an Offering. It guarantees 18% additional ATK. However, if you hit your opponents with a normal attack, you have a 36% chance of activating Valley Rite. This will increase the damage of your normal attacks by 70% of your total ATK. If this effect will not occur, the chance will increase all the time.
Focusing on the second set, which is 4x Heart of Depth, you will boost your Hydro DMG by an additional 15%, and what's more, after using Elemental Skill, you will increase the damage of your normal and charged attack by 30% for 15 seconds.
When it comes to weapons, most swords will work well with Ayato's fighting style, although the two mentioned above work best. One of them is five-star weapon, Haran Geppaku Futsu. In addition to the increased Crit Rate, you will gain 12% additional Elemental DMG. If another character uses Elemental Skill, you will receive one stack (up to two). After using your Elemental Skill, you will consume all stacks to gain an additional effect: increase normal attack damage by 20% (maximum 40%) for 8 seconds.
The second one, on the other hand, is a four-star weapon. The Black Sword. However, it is only available by purchasing the Battle Pass and reaching a specific level. This weapon, in addition to increasing the chance of a critical hit, increases the damage for normal and charged attacks by 20%, plus regenerates health by 60% of your ATK if the hit is critical.
Talents
Talents are abilities used by every character in the game. You should develop all Ayato abilities evenly. As the main DPS, he will use them all.
Constellations
Ayato is a great character for F2P players because he can be included in most teams and also deals a lot of damage even at the C0 level. Each level significantly increases Ayato's damage, although leveling is not required for him to fulfill his task, which is to kill opponents quickly.
