Right after the conversation ends, you will have the opportunity to beat up Gryff, the son of Whitehill, or retreat. You can keep beating him around, up until you are stopped by your mother. You cannot kill him, but the decision to give him a beating will have its consequences in the future. If you want to bully him, tap the buttons that appear on the screen and land combos on Gryff's face.
If you chose to beat Gryff up, you also are in for a short conversation with your mother.
