Last update: 10 August 2018

The map in Fortnite: Battle Royale is vast and has several dozen of places containing various types of items. However, there are places that stand out from the others in the number of available chests. Some of those places are easily accessible, whereas some are hidden - in this chapter you will learn about their locations. The named locations (such as Titled Towers or Retails Row) will always contain the largest amount of chests, but they are besieged by many enemies. Places marked with numbers are not so popular and in most cases will be yours to exploit.

Red:

- Two houses to the north of Junk Junction. After collecting the equipment you can head directly to Anarchy Acres, collecting weapons from other regions along the way.

- Place with the destroyed houses. Perfect starting locations, as you can find up to 4 chests with gear here. From here you can head directly to Haunted Hills.

- Here you can find houses and cars. Several chests will guarantee good equipment and the metal of the cars the necessary protection. Additionally, here you can also find a machine from which you can usually get legendary items, such as the Chug Jug.

- A place with two houses, on the left and right side. Once you have collected your equipment, you can head directly to the new location, Karkolomnego Kina, to finish off survivors.

- Two houses, a big tree and an ice-cream van. Numerous chests just for you. From here you can head to Karkolomnego Kina or Tomato Town.

- A guard tower to the north of Wailing Woods is the perfect starting location. There you can find several weapons lying on the ground, as well as three chests. One of them is located at the top, the second on the first floor and the third in the attic of the garage. Additionally, once you have collected loot, you can head west where more treasures will be waiting for you.

- Haunted Hills is one of the locations that are hard to call good or bad. On the one hand there are so many chests located here that you will be set for the entire match, but on the other the road to the storm circle is very long, turning the game into a running simulator. Additionally, challenges in season 4 causes this place to be literally besieged by good players.

- Tunnel passage containing up to two chests. This place is hidden, as it is located behind the wall. After a thorough exploration, you can go to Tomato Town and fight with others while having an equipment advantage.

- Place with containers. Here you can find up to 10 chests and as much metal as you can carry. This place is not recommended for beginners due to its unusual design.

- A camping place. The barn contains up to three chests. Here you can also find as much metal as you are able to carry.

- One of the better starting locations. Here you can find an out-of-service pool, large amount of weapons, chests and metal. From here you can head to Titled Towers to fight with other players.

- Snobby Shores is a place located off the beaten track, which is why a very small number of players decide to land here. Each residence contains several chests and as much stone as you can carry. During the exploration you must remember to check the bunkers (basements) each time.

- Sticky Forest is one of the few named locations that can be recommended to players with less experience in the game. From the moment the Tilted Towers or the crater appear in the game, so few players decide to land here that in most cases all the treasures located here will be just for you. You should only look out for challenges in the fourth season - once they appear in this location, you should avoid it for the next days.

- A whole complex of unmarked buildings can be found here. You can run into several chests hidden inside.

- Lucky Landing is another named location that is much safer than others. In most cases a very small number of players decide to land here, so you will not have to fight for each pistol.

- Mexican Village is one of the best places to land in season five. Here you'll find the highest number of weapon boxes in the game, and what's best - they are just a few meters away from each other. If you have to run to the other end of the map because there is a storm circle there, you can use a Rift.

Blue:

- Tilted Towers is a location where the highest amount of players land. The largest amount of loot can be found here, guaranteeing you intense action. This location is reserved for more experienced players.

- Dusty Divot is the most visited location in the entire game (during season 4). Not that many weapons and raw materials can be found here. You can find special crystals in the crater, thanks to which you will defy gravity and be able to jump much further. The location is recommended to the players who have mastered the basics of the game.

- Retail Row is another location often visited by players. Large amount of equipment and raw materials can be found here. As in the case of previous locations marked with a blue icon, you should land here only when you have mastered the basics of the game.

- Salty Springs is a starting location for good players. From here fully equipped players can head to the Tilted Towers or Stechlego Skladu. The location is reserved for more experienced players.

- Paradise Palms is a new city besieged by other players in season five. If you feel strong, you will be able to get a lot of eliminations in this spot.

- Lazy Links are the second most occupied location in season five. It has the least weaponry available from all other blue locations, and you'll have to fight with several other opponents for each gun. Recommended location only for players who have mastered the game to perfection.

- Unnamed Nordic village is the location added in season 5. Situated on a large mountain, it has quite a lot of weapons, and thanks to the crevices you will be able to move to another location after cleaning it. Of course, as with other blue locations, it is recommended only for more advanced players due to its high popularity.
