How to activate Spellcraft Challenges?
Spellcraft Challenges in Forspoken are challenges tied to Frey's magic - they require some time and teach combat mechanics, but in return they enhance her spells. Spellcraft Challenges can be activated in the Pilgrim's Refuge by reaching for the book pictured above.
After entering the spell menu you can select a skill and check its Spellcraft Challenge. Once you confirm your choice, you'll have to perform certain actions such as using a skill a specific number of times, making use of Magic Parkour during combat, etc.
You can have up to three Spellcraft Challenges active at once, completing them at the same time.
How to complete Spellcraft Challenges?
The game will automatically track your progress after accepting a Spellcraft Challenge. You'll receive a notification in the upper left corner the moment you perform a specified action. At any time you can enter the Magic tab and check the Spellcraft Challenge progress of a given skill. After completing the challenge, enter the Magic tab, find the correct spell and hold down a button (on the PS5 it's X by default) to upgrade it.
