The Forest: Elevated Structures The Forest Guide

The Elevated tab contains constructions that are placed above the ground.

In this tab, you will find constructions that are placed on an elevation - on trees or platforms - making them inaccessible to cannibals. However, they can easily fall prey to mutants - they are able to knock down trees without any problems, sending the construction placed on top of it crashing down. This category includes the following constructions:

1. Tree House - a standard tree house building, inside of which you can sleep and save your progress. It must be placed on top of a tree. If the tree is cut down, the building will be destroyed.
2. Alpine Tree House - an alternative version of the above described building, differing mainly in appearance. Installed on a tree.
3. Tree Platform - a platform that can be placed on a tree. You can attach Tree Bridge to it.
4. Tree Bridge - a bridge installed between two Tree Platforms. It provides protection against cannibals (they cannot get to the top and reach you) and allows safe movement above the ground.
