The Forest: Boats The Forest Guide

As you can see, with time the game allows players to construct houses floating on water.

The Boats tab, as you have probably guessed, allows you to build boats. Those can be constructed on the water and be used as a means of transport, as well as a base of operation inaccessible by most enemies. Here you can find the following constructions:

1. Small Raft - a small raft that can be used to traverse water terrains. This is the fastest way of travelling through the water.
2. Large Raft - a large raft, requiring two people to control properly. Some of the buildings can be constructed here, turning large raft into a mobile base of operations.
3. House Boat -this is basically a house/hideout floating on water, with a built-in bed where you can sleep. Note that the object is not equipped with a bed - you can sleep there, but you cannot save the game unless you construct a bed. Some of the constructions can fit in here.
4. Dock - a dock where you can moor your House Boat. It can also be used to construct a bridge, although this is quite an expensive process.
