Scouts play a very important role in Football Manager 2022, because they can help you find new potential players for your team, check the attributes and skills of such players, and send information to your inbox about the teams with whom you will fight on the world's playing fields.
Scouting Center
You can easily access the scouting center via the menu on the left . If you want to view a list of all the players available on the FM 2022 transfer market, just go to the Players tab.
Use of the budget
Before you start looking for new talents for your teams, it's worth checking what the club's scouting budget is. For example, if the amount is £ 720K, it's a good idea to extend the Recruitment Package worldwide to maximize your Wonderkids list.
Sorting the search results
The search results in the scouting window can be sorted in many different ways - just click the gear icon to expand the relevant list. By default, the players interested in the transfer appear first in the window.
Advanced search
If you are looking for specific players who must have specific attributes, it is worth using the advanced search and refine the results - just click the Edit Search button in the upper right corner of the screen. After switching to this view, you can select one or more positions on the field, and also specify the age range of the players and individual attributes.
Ordering a player report
When you find the right player, you can ask the scout team to prepare a detailed report about him, which after some time will go straight to your inbox. To order a scout report, simply enter the player's profile and click the button marked in the picture above .
