Football Manager 2022 allows players to create even the most complex tactics, but it should be taken into account that teams from lower football leagues will not have players at the appropriate technical level to implement complex tactical solutions.
Tactical Style
When creating the first tactic for your team in FM 2022 , you can take a hist from the AI - the thumb icon marks styles that can work well for the selected club . If you want, you can of course build a tactic from scratch, but it takes a lot of time and knowledge about Football Manager 2022 and it is not recommended for beginners.
Formation
After going to the formation selection, the game itself will give you the potentially best setting for the selected club . If you want to choose a different formation, you can of course choose a specific formation from the drop-down menu.
Further changes
If for some reason you are not entirely satisfied with your team's positioning, you can change individual options in the Tactics window . Here you can also add players to individual positions and give them specific instructions, as well as select players for the bench.
If you want to quickly replenish your squad and choose the best possible players, choose the option marked in the picture above (Pick Best XI) . It should be noted, however, that the squad will then include players who are currently on vacation or are injured, which will require minor changes.
