Final Fantasy VII Remake has locations known from the original production from 1997. However, they have been expanded, and some of them become more important.
The Shinra Building
The Shinra Building is a skyscraper located in the center of Midgar. It serves as the main headquarters of the hostile Shinra Corporation. Inside this building, you can find, e.g. the Memorial Floor, that is, the hall containing the history of the company, and the Visual Entertainment Hall where the latest technologies are displayed.
The Train Graveyard
The Train Graveyard is, as the name indicates, a junkyard for abandoned trains. This location didn't have any significance in the original game. However, in Final Fantasy VII Remake, this place got a new story.
