Card Packs

We can view the packs that we have in the My Packs panel

Packs are the main way to obtain new players to your FIFA Ultimate Team squad. There are three colors of them:

- Bronze - contain players who have up to 64 points

- Silver - contain players with the number of points between 65 and 74

- Gold - contain players who have more than 75 points

It's no use buying gold cards at the beginning of the game, because high skilled players, combined with the ones with bronze color, will not be as efficient and the chemistry level will go down. Try to strengthen your squad step by step, advancing from bronze cards to silver cards and then consistently introducing gold card players.

Special Cards

Cards can be bought in the Shop or on the Transfer Market

Special cards allow you to increase particular attributes of the players, as well as provide some ways to make your club managing easier. We can distinguish 9 types of cards in the game:

Contract Cards

Contract Cards allow you to choose players that will stay in your team longer and play more matches. These cards apply to players as well as to managers. If the maximum number of matches of a player is reached, he will remain in the club but will not be able to play.

Fitness Cards

Fitness Cards can strengthen the stamina of the players, which enables them to play more efficiently.

Healing Cards

This type of cards can reduce the number of matches which a player must abandon(?) due to an injury.

Morale Cards

They increase the morale of the players, which makes them behave better on the field, use their skills more effectively and increases their sense of teamwork.

Applying consumables is a good way to quickly increase the attributes of a player

Manager Formation Modifiers

They allow you to change the favourite formation of a given manager, which increases the chemistry in the squad.

Player Formation Modifiers

Analogically to the above type, they allow you to change the favourite formation of a given player, which makes him play better in this set up.

Player Position Modifiers

Allow you to change the favourite position of a player, but only in one line, so for example a left midfielder can become a right midfielder. It is impossible for example for a goalkeeper to become a defender.

Goalkeeper Training Cards

As the name of the card suggest, this type changes the attributes of your goalkeepers during the next match.

Player Training Cards

Similarly to the above type, this one allows you to increase the attributes of a single field player for the duration of the next match.

Staff Cards

Staff Cards enable you to hire people that will work to increase the skills of your players and improve the functioning of the club. We can distinguish five types of such experts in the game:

- managers

- head coaches

- goalkeeper coaches

- fitness coaches

- physiotherapists

The decision about hiring a manager is a great responsibility!

The presence of each one of them benefits our club. Thanks to them, the process of healing the injuries can be made faster, players can increase their fitness and some of their attributes. You should have a full range of experts in your club.
