The tactics panel allows you to pick one of the five, pre-determined, sets that concern the tactics of your squad. Apart from the default one, there also are:

• Play from counter - this is when the defensive players are close you your penalty area, they try to pull in opponent players, tackle the ball and perform a quick counter. With such tactic, you cannot count on high percentage of ball possession, but in return, your defenses are tighter and more effective.
• High pressure - This one is a complete opposite of the previous one. Players approach the opponent's defenses very closely, try to break the game and tackle the ball. The downside of this tactic is that you neglect your defenses, which exposes you to a quick counter.
• Defense possession - the primary goal in this tactic is possessing the ball and passing it from one player to another. This one is slightly defensive, it secures the backfield and gives you the opportunity to make a quick return, if you lose the ball.
• Long passes - This variant is an interesting one, when you have tall forwards good at executing headers. In such a situation, one precise pass may quickly result in a goal situation.
• Custom tactic - you determine this one using the detailed tactics screen, where you set the individual elements, such as the pace of forming an action, creating goal chances with individual techniques, aggression in the field, or pressing exercised by the defensive players.
