Follow the mammoth. You don't have to kill all enemies, just trample the ones on your way. You will fall into a trap. Be careful not to fall into a hole shown in the screenshot (there are three nearby) because you will receive quite a lot of damage and you won't be able to move for a moment.
Avoid the traps and run up the hill. Approach the edge and push the rock down. It will fall down and destroy a barricade. Leave the place through the unlocked passages. Don't chase the enemies, just run.
The next place you will visit is an outpost full of enemies. Try to kill as many as you can. Head upwards, where you will find an old mammoth. First, before freeing it, kill the enemies nearby. Be careful about the ones with spears, if your health is critical, go back a bit to regenerate.
When you manage to clear the foreground even just a little, destroy the wooden obstacles that stop the mammoth from exiting. Use your attack or a charge. Join the old mammoth and escape from the outpost, killing the enemies on your way. You can free the wild animals in the lower part of the outpost, they will distract the enemies. Head for the exit while calling (a corresponding button) the mammoth to follow you. Lead it to the herd along the river.
